Learn How To Relax Fast
Why should you learn how to relax fast? For the simple fact
that stress is more than just something unpleasant. It could be
also very dangerous. A lot of diseases are now known to be
caused by or become worse by stress, but you can do something
about it. Simply give the following relaxation techniques a try
and your stress will be reduced. Use them every time you feel
that tension coming on.
1.
Take a hot
shower. The
hot water relaxes your muscles, and the break from more
stressful activities assists too.
2.
Play relaxing
music. Try
experimenting to see the type of music that relaxes you the
most successfully.
Then keep your favorite relaxation music at the office, or
wherever you will need it the mostly.
3.
Breath deep through your
nose. Only
close your eyes and pay attention only to your breathing while
you are doing this. Five slow deep breaths
represent a mini meditation.
4.
Go somewhere
else. This
will help you a lot if the things stressing you out are in the
room or if they are associated with it. Why not go out for a little
while to distract your mind?

Have a cup of chamomile
tea. Chamomile
appears to have a soothing effect on the nerves, and generally,
hot drinks can help you relax.
6.
Take a
walk.
Walking is one of the best relaxing techniques if you
have as a minimum 10 minutes to spare. Find a beautiful place
to walk while you're at it.
7.
Observe your
mind. If you
can spot the stressors lurking just below the surface (worry,
hunger, a phone call you have to make), you could solve them
and then feel more relaxed.
8.
Have a
laugh.
Certainly, you know from experience that laughing helps
you relax, right? Find the person that
knows all the best jokes, or simply locate something
funny near you.
9.
Give someone a
hug. As long
as it is for someone you don't mind hugging, giving them a hug
can actually be very relaxing.
10.
Change your
routine. End
having a conversation to that guy sleeping on the bench, or
have lunch on the roof. Doing whatever breaks you out
of your habitual patterns could relieve
stress.
Over time you will be able to change yourself, and be naturally
more relaxed.
Obviously if the thought of the work involved in this only
stresses you more, you should consider taking it
slowly. Meanwhile,
the relaxation techniques above aren't that difficult, so why
