Stress Quiz – Are You An Expert At Fighting Stress?

Stress is becoming pervasive in the modern life. We are now discovering that stress causes many diseases and this could significantly affect our everyday life. Stress hurts us so much that it could damage our mental peace and physical fitness. Here is a chance for you to quiz yourself and find out if you are an expert at fighting stress.

Stress will always be there – No matter how much we learn how to avoid stress or how much we can hope to eliminate stress, the fact is that in modern life stress is basically impossible to avoid.  All of us face stress in our lives.  The difference may be in quality of stress and our response to it.  We can work on both of these and reduce stress considerably. 

Quiz your stress level – Try to find out how much stress you face every day.  Is your stress level equal to what others are facing or more or less?  You can do this by talking to some of your friends and co-workers.  After a good consideration, if you find out that your work itself causes a high level of stress, you can always consider a job change.  If you believe you do need a job change, try not to quit your job before you get the other one, as this can increase your stress instead.  Make sure that if you get another job, it will be one that doesn’t stress you as much as your old one.  While some stress is normal, high stress over a period of years is not good.  Please quiz yourself about this and find a way to reduce the stress you are facing. 

Quiz your stress fighting ability – The way you fight stress is very important.  Does stress scare you?  Or Do you face stress squarely and fight it off?  Write down all kinds of stresses you are facing and your responses to them.  Find out if your response is of good quality.  Test and develop effective methods to fight stress and bring changes in your response to stress.  Evaluate yourself over a period of time and make all the necessary changes.
